Definition of Organic Membrane

Organic membrane is made from organic polymer materials, such as cellulose acetate, aromatic polyamides, polyethersulfone, and polyfluoropolymers. The main types of organic membrane are spiral-wound, tubular, hollow fiber, and plate. Filtration accuracy can be categorized into microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis.

Excellent performance: The pore size range of organic membrane is relatively wide, enabling separations from micron to nanometer levels, suitable for desalination, sterilization, and organic retention at different filtration levels. Additionally, its hydrophilicity generally improves water flux to some extent.
